Speed Climbing Sopwatch - Official repo

The goal of this project is to create a fully functional time meassuring system for speedclimbng.

Concept:

We have a central device (computer / smartphone) that meassures the time. To do so it also needs:

-Some kind of Buzzer at the top of the wall to stop the meassuring

-A Pad at the start on which the climber stands at the begnning in order to detect when the climber starts to early

-A big Display to show the Time [optional]

Extenstions

We are currently working on some extentiosn to make the meassurement more persice and comfortable.

You can find all of them here

The Buzzer

A 3d-printed Buzzer that sits at the top of the wall to stop the meassurement.

You can find more information here

The Startpad

A pad on which the climber is standing when starting to detect early starts

You can find more information here

Currently implemented:

-The Application is installed at a computer or smartphone and represents the main station

-We have a 3d-printed Buzzer in the top to stop the time (more details are going to be published soon)

small function demo (in german, sorry)

successfull 'real-life' test

The application (speed climbing stopwatch)

This is the 'brain' of the organization
